The “Regional Training Workshop for Satellite Crop Monitoring using the CropWatch System” was held in Mauritius on 7-10 August, 2023. It was jointly hosted by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) and the Aerospace Information Research Institute (AIR) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

CropWatch Team Conducts Field Survey in Kenya
Dr. ZENG Hongwei, an AIR scientist from the CropWatch team went to Nairobi, Kenya from 28 to 29 June 2023 to help the country promote capability of agriculture monitoring by training the staff of its Ministry of Agriculture on the use of GVG for the crop classification.
