The International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals (CBAS) is launching a pilot call for expressions of interest (EOI) from organizations that are active in big data and sustainable development, and interested in partnering with CBAS to serve the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and make joint efforts to promote, advance, and realize the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) around the globe.

The 5th Asia-Oceania Group on Earth Observations (AOGEO) Workshop, hosted by National Remote Sensing Center of China (NRSCC), organized by GEO Secretariat, AOGEO, and the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences (AIRCAS), will take place online during June 15-17, 2022.

Chinese Academy of Sciences, Academy of Science of South Africa, Brazilian Academy of Sciences, Russian Academy of Sciences, and Indian National Science Academy will co-host the BRICS Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development, aiming to share innovative achievements and useful experiences and gather international consensus on big data to support sustainable development.

The Academic Activity Month of Microsystems & Nanoengineering will be launched this November to promote research advances academic exchanges in the field of China. Organized by Microsystems & Nanoengineering in partnership with 11 domestic research institutions, the activities in this month will consist of Frontier Symposium, Doctoral Student Forum and Poster Exhibition and will be held online, free of charge.

The International Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals will be held in Beijing, China from 6 to 8 September 2021 to mark the establishment of the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals which will be officially inaugurated on 6 September 2021.
