Multiple Mare Flooding Events Occur inside Von Kármán Crater during Imbrian Period

There had been at least three mare flooding events occurred inside the Von Karman crater during the Imbrian period, according to a research paper titled "Mare basalt flooding events surrounding Chang'e-4 landing site as revealed by Zhinyu crater ejecta", authored by Dr. GOU Sheng et al. and recently published in Icarus. The research is conducted by the planetary mapping and remote sensing team led by Prof. DI Kaichang from the State Key Laboratory of Remote Sensing Science under the Aerospace Information Research Institute (AIR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).
