Satellite Navigation Included in ESCI

Satellite Navigation, an international academic journal in the field of satellite navigation in China, was included In October 2021 in ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index), a database of Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters).

Satellite Navigation was co-sponsored by the Aerospace Information Research Institute (AIR) under the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) and Springer Nature. It was officially published in English on 20 January 2020. The peer-reviewed journal is online in an open-access format, marking the first international satellite navigation journal that has ever been published in China.

YANG Yuanxi, deputy chief designer of China's BeiDou Satellite Navigation System (BDS) and CAS Academician, serves as chief editor of the Journal and JIN Shuanggen from the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences serves as deputy editor.

The editorial board is made up of over 40 top satellite navigation experts from China and other countries including Germany, UK, Finland, Holland, the U.S., Canada, Italy, Australia, Switzerland, Poland, Korea, Japan, Austria, and Russia.
