The Journal Satellite Navigation Published

The Journal Satellite Navigation, co-sponsored by the Aerospace Information Research Institute under the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Springer Nature, was officially published in English on 20 January 2020. The peer-reviewed journal is online in an open-access format, marking the first international satellite navigation journal that has ever been published in China.  

YANG Yuanxi, deputy chief designer of China's BeiDou Satellite Navigation System (BDS) and CAS Academician, serves as chief editor of the Journal and JIN Shuanggen from the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences serves as deputy editor.  

The editorial board is made up of over 40 top satellite navigation experts from China and other countries including Germany, UK, Finland, Holland, the U.S., Canada, Italy, Australia, Switzerland, Poland, Korea, Japan, Austria, and Russia.  

The five articles published on the augural issue include two review articles titled Basic Performance and Future Development of BDS, and Application of Inertial Sensors in Navigation—Analysis of Advanced Technologies and Their Future Development Trends, a letter titled On Inertial Navigation Solution and Initial Alignment in Polar Regions , and two research articles titled Research on BDS Pseudorange Deviation Issues and Relevant Solution Technologies, and Satellite Navigation Spoofing Detection and Inhibition based on Comprehensive BDS RDSS.
