Wang Xinyuan, male, born in Lu’An City, Anhui Province; PR, PhD, Ph.D. supervisor; in charge of or participated as a key member in more than 30 projects such as “National Science-Technology Support Program” projects, “National Key Basic Research and Development (973) Program”  projects, “State High-tech Research and Development (863) Program”   projects, Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, and so on ; published more than 130 research papers and academic works.

Education Background:

September 1982-July 1986: Studied at the Department of Geography, Beijing Normal University, BS degree

September 1995-July 2000: Studied with an integrated MS-PhD program jointly organized by the Department of Earth Sciences, Nanjing University and the Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences, PhD degree

March 2003-June 2006: Postdoctoral research at the University of Science and Technology of China

2. Won third prize of the 2014 Natural Science Awards of Anhui Provincial People’s Government and Anhui Provincial Science & Technology Bureau for “Remote-sensing-based Research on the Spatial-Temporal Characteristics of Typical Ground Objects in Northern China” (in charge of the project)
